Loads* And hear, hear. Her writing has been going down-hill lately, and her books have been turning into a cultish-thing (shows how great they must be then, eh?  ) CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien ... They're classics. They're writing. JK Rowling: a phase for most, a religion for others (not exactly the makings of a classic there). |

Like the books, but they're going down-hill. By the time book seven comes out, I'll be hating them.
Look at this site Laura. They're all worshipping Harry Potter; some of them are acting as if they're the best (as if) and only (as if) books in the world.
*Sigh* I'm not in the greatest mood, and neither should you be so ... Yeah, ignore my harshness.

There's this series about these clans of wild cats, it's an awesome series but I forget what the series is called, it's by Erica Hunt(er), I think.

Oh and Cornelia Funk writes books that I think are a little better than Harry Potter. (no offense to HP obsessed peeps) She's turned her first book, Inkheart, into a series. I only read the first book, she's only released the second book, they are both about the size of the 5 or 6 hp book, but it's really interesting. espeically her descriptions and the characters.
Oh and Cornelia Funke is a German author.

the sequal to inkheart is AMAZING to-- inkspell.
they are both about 500 pages each.
