yeah. im with jake. im pretty sure she turned 16 in april. and i know plently people who have been drinking for a few years, not that much but still. One drink, or 15 drinks is not going to kill you. well.. again it really matters who you are. You could be allergic, or terrible at tolerating alcohol... but as we all know she's still alive and well months after that picture was taken. jeez.

Yeah, Emma's 16 and she drinks, big deal. Over in Europe drinking laws are way different then here in America. So, she's entitled to have a drink if she wants.

I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!! EMMA WATSON IS DRINKING!!! SHE TO HOTT FOR THAT!!! IT WILL RUIN HER!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In that pic, she definitly got abit buzzed. I'm an expert on these things....*hence* going out with my 20 year old brother with his illegal friends* But she's perfectly fine, she's leagal now, she's entitled to have a drink. They're allowed to drink young over there, and theres no speed limits, whoooa figure that one out. She won't get ruined. I say, GO EMMA! I'd party with her. If i were famous. (haha...i will be someday) I wish American drinking laws were like that in Europe.

Look, I would appreciate it if you argue to do it with good taste like everybody else here. I did not mean that it was not legal over there. I am aware of the laws. Someone made an off-hand comment about 14 or 15 being fully grown and I thought it was rather ridiculous. I have already stated my opinion on drinking. I don't disapprove of her actions but people should exsercise caution with alchohol. Personally, to me it depends on the person's health and maturity rather than age. Some 16 year olds can drink responsibly while some 40 year olds cannot. That's a fact. Alcohol in general dosen't bother me. Rudeness, however, does.

I agree with both bookie and bo.
And just to clarify, in Britain the legal drinking age is 18, but in some mainland European countries it's different, like in France where 14+ year-olds usually have watered-down wine.
Also, there are speed limits in Britain and Europe, don't be ridiculous. Except for the Isle of Man. But let's not get into that.
Does that help at all?
