He is way too harsh and loud. Richard Harris was better: he looked the part and he played the part, with a calm, cheerful, yet eccentric style.

yeah i have to agree with Ravie, i think this guy is a good replacement Dumbledore but i think Richard Harris, to me, was Dumbledore. He was calm and never got too excited over anything. Where as the new Dumbledore got all upset at Harry in the Goblet of Fire when he was suppost to be calm and agree with Moody that someone had put Harry's name in.

ya me too agree wit u........nvr will i consider him as dumbledore.....my dislike on him borders on hatred u kno........i wud rather prefer the guy who played gandalf in lord of the rings.....

Yea he would be good, except that gandalf was too rough around the edges....Dumbledore should look older and battle worn but still soft. That was what i liked about his character most. You know that he carried so much baggage with all the responsiblity and knowledge he had, but he always remained calm and had a cheerful way about him....these last two movie where Dumbledore has yelled just infuriate me...and i also miss the pointy hat....
