Gosh, wormtail is sooo untrustworthy though!!! He betrayed not one, not two, but all THREE of his best friends...and not only did he do it once, he did it twice...I mean the man has no shame...Sirus, James, and Lupin probably saved his life DOZENS of times and he never thought about them when he did them in..I"m just saying the dude has yet to be loyal to someone who saved his life...and i really just don't trust that he will MEAN to help Harry..
He might be like Gollum in the lord of the rings...very unpredictable and you never knew which way he was gonna go...but in the end he destroyed the ring NOT to save Frodo who had given him the benifit of the doubt again and again...but because he was so consumed with greed he just got careless and hurled himself over the darn cliff....

I still think that the Wormtail thing is important. It was only mentioned in passing compared to some pieces of important information and I believe this is to make us forget about it. I don't know what it will lead to exactly, but I'm sure it will come into the story.

Oh yeah I think it'll be super important. I just meant no on him coming back to the side of light on his own.

He'll die....i mean if he helps Harry in ANY way...he's TOAST! EIther he'll die in the attempt, or the Death Eaters will kill him, or Vodly Pants himself will blow him up.

Maybe he can drain Voldemort's powers because Voldie made his hand. Almost like an extra Horcrux, except it's a disadvantage instead of a help.

i think that he will die, but because he tried to do something noble-- to stop his guilt from killing his best friend. like die protecting harry or something...

It's just that I'm starting to think that's a bit too cheesy, if you understand.

yesss. i know. but i love cheesy epic writing. still, though. he has to do something important in the book, and he really isn't truely bad. so...

Okay enough with the "cheesy" and "cliche" talk....i don't care if everything everybody says is the most obvious thing in the WHOLE WORLD, its peoples opinion so either chime in with your own thoery or move on Sooooo I think Wormtail will die but he may either leave behind his magic arm when he is blown up OR if for some awful unknown reason he lives and Voldmort is destroyed his hand may disappear too...ewww.... and then he would just have one arm which would serve him right!

I believe this is about who we trust that may turn traitor. I wonder if perhaps Cho could be tempted.
