omg! cant believe the deaths i was well hacked off at one! heres the list i think of the nice lovely people that i care bout lol
HEDWIG! Moody DOBBY!! Georges ear! Fred Snape Lupin Tonks
Who do you lot think were the two she wasnt intending on dying and who got a repreive
i think the two unintentional were moody and tonks the rest, other than hedwig and fred fit in with the story, the reprieve must be someone big like: Ron, Hermy, Hagrid or Bill or sum1... or maybe she was intending both twins to die....

EDIT: Okay, turns out I was wrong. Lol. YOU SHOULD SO TOTALLY READ THIS!!! JKR SAID WHO GOT REPRIEVED! Okay, so, uhm... I dunno if you've read this already. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19935372/--- I thought Hedwig's, Dobby's and Fred's death were totally unexpected. I thought Moody, Tonks, and Lupin made sense to me 'cause they were all part of the Order. I was really sad that Snape died even before Harry saw his memory of Lily and him. I didn't really expect him to die. Who I really expected to die was someone like Harry, Ron, Hermione, or Hagrid. THANK GOD THEY DID NOT DIE. Everytime someone died, I was like, "I hope that's it..." I was especially scared that Ron might die. I really thought he would, but THANK GO HE DID NOT! The first death that struck me real hard was Dobby, then Fred. Other people to add to the list of deaths are: 1. VOLDEMORT. MWAHAHAHAHAHA. 2. Ted Tonks 3. [INSERT FIRST NAME HERE] Cresswell 4. [INSERT GOBLIN'S NAME HERE] 5. Unnamed Muggles I need to re-read... I want my book back!

I know, I was especially scared for Ron. But let me just say, for my sake, as well as one other person's, fred weasley should never have died. =[ How on earth will George live? And hello, what about Angelina? She couldn't have just fallen off the face of the earth. Fred was amazing, and should have made it out alive. But, even as I am saying this. Fred's death was not the worst of all.
HOW CAN SHE TAKE Ted's father away? honestly. Poor Ted. You might find it crazy, but that chararacter was my favorite... the only possible person above him would have been his grandfather. XD

LUPIN AND TONKS! FRED!?!?!?! but for real.... LUPIN AND TONKS! OMG! How could she!? What about Teddy!? WHY!? Well we all know why, in an interview JKR said that she couldn't stand to kill Mr. Weasley...so she traded him for Lupin...and i guess since Tonks was soo upset in book 6 without Lupin that it wasn't realistic to keep her alive because she prolly would have died with grief....but still, it was terrible. but Fred!? Seriously....there was NO NEED! That was just cruel...poor percy, he'll have to live with the guilt for the rest of his life...he rejoined the good side and in turn bascially offed his brother...its awful! I WANT ANSWERS! I want her to UNDO it.. Thats it....she'll just have to turn back time a month...rewrite that one part where lupin, tonks, and fred die...and we'll just redo this whole thing.... *sigh* or i'll have to live with it....

1. VOLDEMORT. MWAHAHAHAHAHA. 2. Ted Tonks 3. [INSERT FIRST NAME HERE] Cresswell 4. [INSERT GOBLIN'S NAME HERE] 5. Unnamed Muggles That would be Dirk Cresswell and Gornuk. Also, you missed out Colin Creevey. Well, let's see: Hedwig's death came completely out of the blue. I hadn't thought of non-human character being killed. I was shocked when Mad-Eye died, especially since it was because of Dung's cowardice, and the fact that he expected it (as he knew that they would go for the more able Aurors first). Ted, Dirk and Gornuk seemed unnecessary. We didn't even get to know what kind of person Ted was before he was killed. Dobby. Why? WHY? Of everyone, why Dobby? He did not deserve to die! It would've been so easy to kill off anybody else, but Dobby did not have to be killed! His last words, however, were really sweet. Fred needn't have died. It just suddenly happened when I least expected it. I was stunned. But, as with Dobby, he died as he lived, joking - and also, the last thing he did was truly forgive Percy. I was shocked at Snape's death. Voldemort killing his greatest asset (even though he was actually a spy) emphasized how he cared for nobody. It was good that he got redeemed though. I just realised - he must have a portrait, right? Lupin and Tonks... After all they did to help, what did they get in return? Their deaths disturbed me more than any of the others. Poor Teddy. That little bit of Voldemort that was inside Harry: well, that was confusing. But with 41 pages to go, I knew Harry dying was not as simple as it seemed. Still, technically, he died. Bellatrix was inevitable. Voldie was inevitable. good stuff.

yea fred was harsh....I wish i had never known that Mr. Weasley was supposed to be the one that died though....because now i just kinda pretend to myself that Tonks and Lupin are still alive...I think, "well, mr. weasley was supposed to die and so that makes Tonks and Lupin alive in the original plot....so they are alive."
I don't know how i rationalize it but it makes me feel better that at least in one version of the way the story was to end that Lupin and Tonks were able to raise their child.

well i actually was shocked by Fred and Tonks deaths. i kind of thought Lupin was going to die because he was the last connection to Harry's father that Harry had left and it seemed to me that she was really taking out those characters. i actually have a feeling that he made Ted's parents die so he was kind of like Harry. he grew up without any parents but he knows a great deal of people who did know his parents, kind of like Harry. i will agree with Mary though, there was no need for FRED's death!
