I think the best evidence that Sanpe is bad is the fact he attacked Harry in the battle and the best evidence that the Snape was asked to kill DD was DD begging, freezing Harry, knowing about the vow, and (MOST important!) the arguement Hagrid overheard between DD and Sanpe. READ that part. It's in there for a reason that hasn't been explained and it fits perfectly!

Snape is bad!!!!!!!! Grrr...i don't care what he does in the 7th book....he could kill Voldy-pants, cure all diseases, feed every hungry mouth in the universe...and he would still be evil in my eyes. He was always a butthead to Harry and his friends, he explains how he executed his plan to double cross Dumbledore...oh...and what was that thing he did at the end of book 6...gosh, its on the tip of my tongue....OH YEA! HE MURDERED DUMBLEDORE!
He may change sides in this last book, but he'll always be bad in my book!

Yeah I think snape is certainly evil, no doubt about it, but I think he is one of the good guys, he just hasn't got the good part down so well, lol. Snape could have so easily killed harry or taken him prisoner to voldie if he wanted to kill harry himself. And why on earth would snape have stopped quirrell from trying to kill harry in SS if he was really on the side of voldemort? I just think snape is on DD's side.

in the sixth book it explains why snape did and didn't do all the things, in his words. I think that snape has not decided which sides he wants to be on. I think that he respected Dumbledore, even though he killed him. he had the unbreakable vow thing going on with Narcissa.I think he is potentially a good guy and potentially a very bad guy. J.K Rowling is always playing with our minds on the true aspect of her characters.

I just think snape is on DD's side. i'm going to go with BreAnn on this one. I really think Snape is a good guy, he's just not good at it. lol but I vote for Harry's Gaurdian because he protected Harry too much for it not to be possible. I know he attacked Harry in the 6th book but I think it was finally his way of letting go of everything James did to him when he was a teenager. I really think Snape will show how good he truly is in the 6th book. I'll admit, I was very ticked off when he killed Dumbledore but I think there's something that we don't know about it. That being, why he killed Dumbledore. Another reason why I think he's a good guy is because he's pushed to much in the books of being a bad guy. I've seen this kind of thing so many times that I pretty much am sure he's really a good guy. If JK goes away from the 'enemy who is actually a friend' thing then okay. I say this... Snape is a GOOD GUY![/color] *Tanya*

but Snape is and AWFUL person...i mean no one can deny that his heart is cold and black. I really really REALLY want to know why in the WORLD would Dumbledore trust him. I'm telling ya'll, if the man can kill and betray and do all this crazy double double triple crossing then he is way smarter then Voldemort and those Death Eaters need to get a new King.
Seriously, i mean either the guy has fooled Voldypants or he has fooled Dumbledore....either one would very much impress me because those are like the Head honchos of each side. If he can fool them he is way more dangerous then i could have thought.
Oh and Snape is pathetic, I mean he was teased and mocked..."boo hoo" *sniff sniff* He is supposed to be a grown man, you'd think he would have gotten over it by now, the whole "Snape can't let go of his hatred for James cause he picked on him" thing has been an excuse throughout the books, well i don't think its a good enough excuse anymore...he better have done something outragously good if he wants to convince me that Dumbledore had the right to trust him

I've seen this kind of thing so many times that I pretty much am sure he's really a good guy. If it's happened that many times elsewhere, then it won't happen in HP. Oh, also, I totally agree about the boo hoo sniff sniff thing. Being bullied is hardly the best excuse to go around killing people.
