no way, he's got calm like Dumbledore is suppost to be. he like flipped out at Harry on GoF when everyone else was suppost to be going crazy and he was suppost to be SUPER calm. but no! he almost knocked Dan down on the table. sorry but i really think he's getting away from how Dumbledore is suppost to be. and he really wasn't in OotP much.

well in OotP he's suppost to be like not around a lot but he's still suppost to have a part in a lot of what is happening. OotP wasn't my favorite movie and it should of been b/c i love the OotP book.

i agree...OotP is soo my favorite book...and totally screwed up the duel between Voldy and Dumbledore! I just hope they can pull HBP.....though because it is not that exciting til the end they will probably make things up..grrr

Oh no, I hope they don't add stuff that didn't happen... HBP isn't all that action-packed until near the end, but it's just so good! After they did PoA so poorly, they'd better get this right.

that is very true, PoA was poorly done. I think it's gonna be pretty hard to screw up HBP. if they don't have the house-elves, Dobby and Kreacher, i'm gonn be pissed!

itll be really hard to screw up the 6th movie cuz its so simple all harry does is go on trips with dumbledore then the big fight seen at the end.... so i think that it will be an alright movie

I was reading a magazine article about the HBP movie, and it sounds like it'll be really good. Because everyone knows what happens in DH now, the makers know what they can and can't leave out, without just getting subtle hints about it. And they're including scenes of a lot of the stuff that you hear the two Ministers talking about, which will be interesting. I'm looking forward to it. ^_^

okay i'm sorry. i'm about to be furious.
i just read on mugglenet that the funeral scene will not be in the movie. i am beyond .... i just don't know. this is ridiculous! that scene is extraordinarily pivotal. to so many characters, not to mention the turmoil racking itself through harry's brain that determines, well i don't know, EVERY move he makes from then on?
and we don't get to see fawks one more time? what was the direction THINKING? and i know i am apparently one of the last people to know this, so i am perfectly content with being the girl who is upset over old news.
i can't believe ron's scene with the love potion is so important they included it in the trailer just to add a comedic aspect, and yet they aren't going to put the funeral in. unbelievable.
on a lighter note, and more random one (This is going to be where i become a totally obsessive fan yet again) the sneak peak on youtube (http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=hLKbadsOmjo) has me excited to reread the book. harry/ginny and ron/lavender moments that really kept the book, in my opinion, realistic is going to be quite exciting to see on film. i can't wait to see rupert in the quidditch scenes, i have it on good authority that he is going to be as lovable on screen as he is in print.
and as upset as i am with the director, i loved what he did creatively in OoTP. I think he will bring a great feel of the changing atmosphere and really the counterbalance that is so strong in this movie. here, even more so than the last one we see that these really are KIDS saving the world. What started with the DA really evolves into something more (and more specified), but at the same time we get those teenagery scenes.
on a side note...if you're as obsessed with draco malfoy as i am check out this promo on youtube a fan made using a voiceover by Dominic from the show lost. i thought it matched perfectly. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcvzWSH3lOU&NR=1)

I never heard any of that! Well, I'll just try my best to believe that the director needs to be selective about scenes in that way to get the right effect throughout the film (hopefully!). Also, I hadn't seen that sneak preview thing before. It made it sounds pretty good. Buuut... whenever Emma or... I've forgotten the name of the boy who plays Neville... talk about anything, I notice how un-Hermione-ish and un-Neville-ish they look. A lot of the actors seem to have changed quite a lot, but Dan and Rupert still look themselves. I can't imagine how different everyone will look by the end of the series...

i know! i was talking to a friend about what i noticed about Emma (18) during the trailer - they are trying desperately to make her look like Hermione, but i don't think its working. Emma was perfect in the first two movies, not because she wasn't pretty, but because her hair was done in the correct manner and we weren't distracted by how pretty she is. Now, however, there is no hiding it. In the trailer they seemed to give her an angular hair cut, and were giving her wardrobe items that might suggest she was still a bookworm, and didn't worry about her appearance. I try not to think about it, and i think that as the books went on i did imagine hermione getting more attractive.
Neville, however, is more of a problem. The actor who plays him, Matthew Lewis (age 19), is no longer a pudgy little boy. and the worst part is that, like hermione, in the third movie he looked nothing like he did in the 2nd. and unlike hermione, he continued to grow more and more mature. eek! i'm not too terribly bothered by age in movies (but obviously notice it) because i learned to love 18 year old elijah wood as the 50 year old Frodo. I mean, they're teenagers (or, some of them still are). they are going to look completely different from one year to the next.
If you ask me the one who really looks his age is Tom Felton (21!). I think he looks too grown up to be Draco, but at the same time his age makes him look harsh - something a boy who was actually 17 probably couldn't do as well. Somehow he manages to be the perfect draco, how, i will never know.
Rupert (20) and Dan (19) are perfect. And i don't know how they do it, Daniel looks much older off camera than he does on; proof that they are trying to keep Harry looking his age... and he is the only true success. I mean, for this next movie Harry just turned 16. That is the age of most of my friends. But since when to actors play roles in which their age is identical to the characters? Almost never, especially young actors. Rupert is ageless, he will probably look the way he does for another five years. yay rupert!

I dunno... I've felt that Tom Felton's age really stands out, and not so much in a good way. I guess it's because I always imagined Draco as the type who tries so hard to act like a man, but it's clear that he's just a boy really.
