I think I've read Phillip Pullman but I'm not sure .... what has he written? Oh! He wrote the Golden Compass, didn't he? I KNEW he sounded familiar! I've read all of them, but in my opinion .... the series just went downhill. The Golden Compass was alright (though a bit sci-fi-ish for my liking, and very weird) but the other two ... I could barely keep my eyes open while reading it, which lead to me having to re-read pages over and over to comprehend it and ... Not fun. Very imaginative, but not my thing.
-Harry Potter -Chronicles of Narnia (they're classics, c'mon) -Luanne Rice books -Holes -Shopaholic books Etc. etc. etc.

Oh, yeah, because it came out in England before it came to Canada (that's where I'm from, by the way) and after publishing it in England they decided to change the title ... they do that all the time.
Like, isn't in England the first Harry Potter book is called "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" or something? In Canada it's called "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" (which, I personally think makes more sense with the whole alchemy aspect of the book, but whatever.)

Not quite in England it is called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and in America it is called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
I reckon the English way sounds better! ;D

Oh, most definetly!
Weird, that Canada wouldn't have the same title as the Americans ...! That's normally the way it works.
