For younger readers, i recommend the T'Witches series, by H.B. Gilmour and Randi Reisfeld. Older readers might like the story too, but its written for younger readers.
And for the older people on this forum (i dont recommend anyone under 15 read these, to be safe, theres some 'scenes' in them, not to graphic, but not for younger children. and the series isn't done, but i dont foresee a happily ever after ending, let me warn you) i recommend Robert Jordan's Wheel of time series. The first one is called The Eye of the World. Oh, and i recommend reading them in order, or you'll be confused (i was confused)

Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan... It's kind of a mix between Lord of The Rings and King Arthur tales... It's AWESOME!

that book sounds really cool!! I might check it out sometime.. but right now I am in the middle of TOO MANY BOOKS. I like that, but I can't take on any more lol
I would recomend The Bartimaeus Trilogy to all teenagers, and perhaps younger dedicated readers (like myself) it is really truly fantastic. I have only read the 1st one, but I am going to buy the 2nt as soon as it comes out in paperback. The 1st book is called "The Amulet Of Samarkand" and the 2nt is called "The Golem's eye" ********* I have just been informed that it is not only a series but a MASSIVE serries, sort of like Red wall. So I might not be reading it as soon as I planned. But I will not graduate high school without reading them!

Cool! ;D I just found this today and I have not heard of alot of these books and some sound really good! I would recomend (as I saw someone else put) The Giver by Lois Lowery and The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. One book I would encourage people at least fifteen to read is The Phantom of the the Opera. I know you are thinking "yeah right" and I never thought I would read it either but it was a boring day and i just picked it up and couldn't put it down. Try it, please. You'll either hate it or love it. For the younger kids I would suggest The Chronicles of Narnia, and especailly Number the Stars by Lois Lowery. Anyone who liked Number the Stars should read Stones in Water(forgot the author but Warning: It is Sad).

I sound like a dork but A Christmas Carol is a great book if you go into it with the right attitude and I agree with whoever said King Arthur. The Once and Future King by EB White (I think) is the one I read and loved it! Anyone who likes that sorta stuf ahould read it but its kinda long. Anyone else know of any good King Arthur books?
