Fan Theory
Hey, I recently received a theory submission through the form here at TWWN.
The theory seems interesting to me, so I'd thought I'd get a bit of a discussion going. Here it is
Through the Eyes of Harry Potter...
If you search through the Harry Potter series, You'll be amazed how many times
Dumbledore knew things that he really shouldn't know. He'd regularly summarize
all the hidden causes and effects in a whole book in ten pages. Much of his
knowledge could certaintly be explained: He was immensely clever, had an
extensive spy network, and it could be J.K.Rowling did make one or two mistakes.
But there are some signs that something was going on beneath the surface.
Dumbledore quoted Umbridge's words- in the Forbidden Forest. He recounted what
Rookwood told Voldemort- in Harry's dream. He quoted part of what Morfin told
Riddle- but Morfin was speaking Parseltongue. He told Harry that Voldemort
"used" Nagini to kill Frank Bryce- because Harry himself didn't remember that.
There are many other incidents like these. What do they all share in common?
They're facts that Dumbledore shouldn't have known- but Harry did witness every
single of these facts. And so perhaps Dumbledore "experienced" every one of
these occurences in the same way that Harry saw through Voldemort's eyes so many
times- and perhaps the same (still unexplained) magic that connected Voldemort
to Harry did the same for Dumbledore.

What do you guys think? Please respond in the comments :]
That was posted on TWWN, and it was so good i thought i would bring it over here.... and below is my thoughts on the subject.
wow, this is one of the more interesting open-ended theories i've heard in a long time. And actually, one that i have often thought of.
But i just always assumed that Dumbledore was just, well, that amazing. I could say a lot of things on why Dumbledore is so connected with Harry's thoughts, and things he experienced... but most of them come from my love for the character.
What I will say is that Harry has lost many adult figures he considered family, Dumbledore included. From day one Dumbledore seemed particularily interested in Harry, even more so than could have been expected. Dumbledore has some tie with Harry, but now that he's dead we will probably never figure out what it is, or where it came from.
Just like we'll never know why Dumbledore trusted Snape, but that's getting into a whole different discussion...
