I've obviously been blowing up the threads, i'm in HP mode! I keep having dreams that everyone dies in the books and then my book blows up and i die too....not that happiest dream.
How is everyone getting through this? I'm stressing! I don't want it to end!!! I'm scared HP will die, I'm scared i'll be disappointed. I kinda dread the book the closer it comes...What if we all have read these books and all we get is a big nothing at the end? I want to trust JK but the past two book deaths teach me no one is safe...I'm scared I'm expecting too much
How is everyone feeling with the end coming?
Later this can be the thread can be for when we speed readers want to relay our feeling about the ending.
Is it what you pictured? What would you change? Did your questions get answered?

honestly Mary i can't wait for this book. i'm going to have to read it late but i'm so excited for it. i'm sad that it's the last one but i guess it's going to answer so many questions that we all have. i'm 100% sure that Harry is going to die. i'm always stuck by it and i'm not going to let it go now. i guess we'll have to wait and see what happens
4 days to go...

It just bothers me that after I read it, it's gonna be over. Forever.

yeah. that's what bothers me the most too. And not just that I won't be waiting up to go to a midnight release party, or that I won't have a countdown.. Once she finishes the story there is no more anticipation. No more dreaming up ideas, or thinking of what might happen. And if she really does use the last couple pages after 'the end' to sum up what happens to people's lives after the war then all cannons are final. O.O which means role play, or at least cannon role play will be very different.
And besides. Forever is a really long time. I can't imagine how I'll feel when the 7th movie comes out. Then it will be really really over forever. =[

well they start filming the 6th in September so that'll take about a year to come out and then another year for filming the 7th one so i'm going to go with about 2 to 3 years before the final movie. i still think you could come up with ideas even if the 'the end' tells what happens to those who live, it'll just be a different way.

Yea i hate that everything is going to be definite....no more theories....no more me going on my Snape rants because there will be a for sure answer....and yea the movies will be something to look forward to but this is the end....I'll know all the answers to my questions...(well, maybe not all) but most...it's sad
OH! and I'm REALLY perturbed that people are leaking the book. People are mean and they are gonna ruin it for some really loyal fans!!

i thought the 19 years later part was very much like the roleplaying, and storywriting her fans do. and honestly, how could it be any different?
she strayed away from teenage potter- and in only a few pages told us what he was like as an adult. The names i thought were adorable. especially albus severus. i don't think i have ever smiled that widely while reading, ever.
I adored this book, more than any other save the lord of the rings books. The best of the series, with out a doubt. I cried a lot, but probably not at the places you'd expect. I just didn't want it to end, and yet I was very satisfied and pleased by the way it did.

Yeah I kept looking at the amount of pages i had left and thought 'must read slower' But I couldnt stop, cause that would be madness. And the epiloge..I don't know how i feel about it. It was good in its own sense, but i want to know what happened to other people.

Well, I fully expected to cry at the end, simply because it was the end. The end. The END. But no. I nearly did before, because I knewit was going to end, but no.
I liked the epilogue, because it was so innocent and happy (even though there were far too many new people), after such a bloodbath of a book. The ending itself was very good, and I never thought HP was the type of thing to mess with your head, but it totally did. If I had to mention one problem though, it's that it relied waaay too heavily on coincidence. Other than that, I'm quite happy.
However, it was a little bit annoying that I was completely wrong about everything. I always said that the "Snape is good" and "Harry is a Horcrux" theories were stupid, but that was because they didn't carry decent justification: in the end, they fitted together in the only sensible ways, and I liked that.
Perhaps we should put a spoiler warning in the thread title now...

well i think talking about the end pretty much is a spoiler warning in itself...
I dunno, i always thought 'Harry is a Horcrux' and 'Snape is good' theories were very true, and I remained a believer through the entire thing. And wasn't dissapointed. XD. I was just glad JRK found a good way to make Harry die, and yet, to have him live. It was amazing.
AND TED AND THE VEELA GIRL. NO. NO I SAY. okay, i'm done. =]
