Yeah, me neither! And the person that is gonna play Sirius doesn't look a thing like what I pictured Sirius to be like! You have the point, Violet Borders. I imagined Sirius looking rather hot, at least young.

I never thought Lupin'd look like that... horrible... he should at least look hotter, Sirius too, at least a bit... Ok, I've seen only 1 pic of Lupin, I can't judge him on that, I have to wait to see the trailer, he'd better be great (Lupin). ;D

Yeah, I think I've seen one pic of Pettigrew somewhere, but I don't know the link, sorry. I think he kinda looks the best, just as I thought he does (he's a bit ugly ;D).

Ummm, the producers of the movies said that one day the 3 actors would grow out of their roles and move on. And although I think most of us accept that it might happen one day, do you think it'll be good for the Harry Potter franchise itself? I think not.

To take away Daniel Radcliffe and the rest would be like suddenly having a new Frodo halfway through LotR!

I don't mind the Dumbledore replacement. Gambon is a good actor, though I think Patrick Stewart would have been an awesome Dumbledore. My opinion on the movies .. well, I think 4 will be made with the same actors. After that, I think they might make the movies, but they will be those low budget straight to video cassette/dvd releases - not theatrical. Maybe the first one with different characters might make the theater, but I doubt it will last after that. The series will NOT succeed without the same kids. Every time they try to replace the actors in popular children's films for sequals and it never works out. Neverending Story - awesome movie, the 2nd and 3rd - TERRIBLE. hehe Then there was the Casper movies .. good affects and actors in the first one, second and third one were terrible. It would be a big mistake to use different kids, especially since a massive number of people saw the movie before reading the books, and the characters were then permanently represented in their minds by the actors that played them. I personally know this because I had no interest in the HP books until I saw the movie, THEN i read the books. Reading through all of the books I always used the actors in my head to play the scenes out because the movie imprinted the actors into my head as being the characters they played. If it changed, it wouldn't be the same. I don't think there is any need to film any more than 4 movies. They may have trouble keeping the movies rated PG if they go past 4 anyway. I agree that they should have no problems using the actors even if they are older than the book character. There is rarely a movie or TV show with child roles where the actor is NOT older than the character they are playing! Make up and proper direction can work wonders with aging down actors. I would have to agree with you.. i never read the book until i saw the movies, and a friend introduced me to the books and because i had already seen the movies, I like you used the characters to play out the book in my mind. if they changed the characters it just wouldn't be the same.

However , I would hope that the actors that play in HP would continue to play their rolls.. The actors played their part so well..
I myself look forward to the next movie I have seen the HP3 movie twice already and i am already waiting to see the next one..

Do u think that they should make the movies more adult like Lord of the Rings and not as childish with bigger effects and them being alot scarier than the previous three moives because they need more of an adult feel to them and the forth movie is a big one and it should be awsome.
