I think he will save Harry's life and die from Voldemort's curse. Sad, but what can we do, if JK decides this to happen, she did say many people will die.

Yeah, and Harry needs to get rid of protection, not to be in Dumbledores sight any more, so, my choice would be the 1st.

I also feel that Dumbledore will die in the 6th book. I think JKR will want people to be at the edge of their seat as to whether or not Harry will be the one dying in book 7, and since Dumbledore is a key character his death will need to be the star of it's own book, so 6 seems to fit. Although, it is possible that JKR may do something kind of like daytime soap operas do and make an announcement like "In the last chapter of the Harry Potter series, someone good will die" .. and then you have to guess with it ending up being Harry or Dumbledore.. hehe it's fun to try and predict this.

I think that he will die to save harry from volt. in the 6th book.. remember old magic? somehow this act of pure love for harry will save harry from volt in book 7. since his mothers selfless act no longer carries weight since volt used harry's blood in G O F well then a new act of love will maybe

actually, I don't think he'll die at all. I think she WANTS us all to think he's going to die when he's actually not. I'm guessing he'll probably resign as Headmaster because the rest of the Wizarding world will BEG him to be Minister of Magic after Voldemort kills Cornelius Fudge.

A nice idea, but, why would Voldemort kill Fudge, he's better off with him as Minister, he's as dumm as Grawp! (but Grawp is becoming smarter! ) Hmm, I think I'll need 2 think about this!

It's true that it would be smarter for Voldemort to let Fudge live and stay as Minister, but how smart is Voldemort? and what better way to scare everyone into submission than killing the Minister of Magic? plus, after reading book 5 it kinda made it look like Dumbledore's immortal lol.

I think Dumbledore will come up with something at the end like "his mission in life is accomplished or something" and now he wants to rest or go in the paths of wisdom....There is something about him that has always bothered me, and that is that thing he said about "for the well organized mind, death is nothing more that the next step"..i think that determined his future right there. Not that he is going to die, but now we know he is too wise for this world...

Quite possible, quite possible, yes, he doesn't have the strenght ti kill him now, but if he gets angry, who know what he is capable to do when he's angry......
