I have to say I have support J.K Rowling's rant about the skinny obsessed world we live in. And I think it's great that someone as clever and respectable as her has voiced this problem to the public. I mean eating disorders effect lots more people than we are aware of, I lost one of my friends to anorexia one year back because she refused to believe she was pretty or thin enough yet she died at the weight of 5 stone.4. I think J.K Rowling has every right to be quite worried about her daughters growing up in a place where you get in magazines by wearing skimpy clothing and sharing the body structure of a Barbie doll and not for your brains.
Does anyone else here agree with her, what are your views?
