I don't think you can ever be to old for Harry Potter. My aunt, who is over 50 still loves it probably more then I do. And thats saying something. My cousin, who is in his 20's took less time to read the lastest book then I did. And my father? 47, was the one who got me into Harry Potter. I have friends that are leaving for college this year (okay, two)-- and they like Harry Potter as well. Having read the books 3 times each i think.
Harry is something that catches you, and no matter what age. You're hooked. Perhaps some people don't get hooked, but i like to think that once you like him- you always do. -shrugs- but what do i know, I'm still at the right age.

Yea and I'm not too old...heck, it's been mor than a decade since the books came out...most of the loyal fans are older....I'll be 21 in sept. and i'm still cool! haha! Oh, and i've the books prolly 5 times each...except for i just got the last one so i've just read the first six 4 times but anyway...it was a tradition of mine to read all the HP books i had in summer while i layed out....thats alot of summers with HP....now i won't be able to look forward to any new ones...

i'll be 17 in October so i know i'm getting older but Harry Potter is just something i continue to enjoy and my dad even likes the movies even though i have to explain things to him sometimes. does this date still stand for the movie or has it changed? i think i shall go and check.

Can any of us actually imagine growing out of HP? I think that'll show how little age matters.

yeah i plan on having my kids reading HP because i think it's an incredible story and my 2nd cousins are starting to read them right now so i can't see HP going away anytime soon. i also found on IMDb that the release date is still the 21st of November 2008 so unless it changes between now and then, it's the date.

Well there shouldn't be many ways they can mess up this movie...its a shorter book and basically all there is to do is match the couples up, go on journeys with Dumbledore, and then the semi-battle at the end....From my point of view the plot shouldn't vary the way it has in the last movies because this plot is so clearly explained...of course, i also thought that about PoA...that was a disappointment
