I have a feelings not all the mysteries will be solved... most of them (the main mysteries) will be but I doubt JKR will ever release all her HP secrets and details. Besides, once the books are done there will still be plenty to talk about for the movies. But yeah, the interest in Harry Potter may decrease somewhat after book 7 has been out a few months but I'm sure HP will survive atleast another decade I agree! The Harry Potter books are just so GRRRREAT! And the movies are pretty darn good too! And with all of us Potter lovers, there's no way it'll die down immeadiately! I REFUSE TO LET IT!!!!! I really like all of the fantasy and magic in the books meslef, but what I enjoy the most is the fact that her writing takes me THERE! I can really see what's she's writing about because she's so detailed. JKR is definately high on my list of Favourite Authors!! ;D

I love the books because JK Rowling has taken normal fantasy cliches like Witches and Wizards etc and given it more depth and changed all the cliches around. The reason I carried on reading after the 1st book was the books kinda fulfilled what you expect from a novel - excitement, originality etc. I think a lot of people think the same too and thats my theory on why the books are so popular. Good point. Though she may be the modern Roald Dahl of our times...... Aurora

Yep, Harry Potter is definitely what people have been looking for - and anticipating. J.K Rowling is the kind of author this society enjoys reading.

Yep, so that's why i enjoyed her books so much cos I was never much into Wizards and spells but her writing is so easy to read, original, funny and fresh, I could see that it was the pinnacle of modern wrting.

The books are great but I don't really understand why I like them so much, lol. I mean, I read a lot (well not as much anymore because I'm so busy ) but everytime I read a book, even if it's really good, I'm not like "Holy cow that was great, I'm going to make a website about that book!!!" lol I mean I've never read a book before that has ever impacted my life the way the Harry Potter books have. Perhaps it sounds kind of wierd, or maybe even sad, but I would be a totally different person if I had never gotten into Harry Potter, that's how much they've impacted me.

Had no impact on me. If you'd see me you'd nevre think I read Harry Potter books (and liked it). But okay, I do spend somewhere about an hour here, and read books and stuff. But no impact anyways.

Well, I am a book worm, but the HP books just opened a new arena of reading quality which was great... I mean, I'm making a list of ALL the books I own and I'm not finished, I have done only maybe half and I already have 340-odd books in my room!!! The other room is left and a quarter of my room!!! ;D
