Yeah what types of books do you read TCO?
I like mainly everything, but not so much science fiction like Star Trek and what not. It's just too...unrealistic or something, for me.
Oh, and historical books (non-fiction) will usually put me to sleep as well.
I used to read ALL THE TIME, but now I hardly read books, and when I do it takes me a month or two to read them because of the little time I have to read now. I used to read 3 or 4 books a month, but that's not possible to do when you running a Forum and Website. But it's ok, I enjoy what I do. And I read a lot online anyway, but I do miss reading.

i know what u mean ever since i started college i have had less an less time to read, i dont have the time to go out and buy them never mind reading them. i agree i dont really like sci-fi books either they do seem a little 'unrealistic' to me too. i like fantasy books the best they hold my interest and my imagination can really get started lol

Ummm...I read almost everything, except scary horror books and I don't have a lot of soppy romance stories. I do admit, hehe, I have 2 Barbara Cartland's, but then I have around 80 Agatha Christie's, most of the John Grisham's, Sidney Sheldon's, Jeffery Archer, uh, then...Perry Mason...uh, Jean Plaidy (this is historical novels), classics (not a lot), then books from a few years ago...argh...too many...Harry Potter and Lotr!!!...ah well...Basically, almost everything...
Hehe, I read a book a day...usually... ;D

i think that the books are so popular, because JKR makes the books feel so real. You really feel part of the story .
She leaves you wanting to know more about harry and his friends .......

Yeah I agree TEALEE. The stories are just so complete. They have a government system (MoM), sports, a magical hospital, transportation systems, mail delivery, a currency, and the social classes are very well defined as well, such as the contrast between Malfoy's Family and the Weasleys.

yeah thats what i said (somewhere) that the basis is just like the muggle world, she takes everythin we have in the muggle world and just made it better an more magical for the wizarding world. i think thats why its so easy to relate to

Also there is a whole range of characters and theres definatley one or more character for everyone to relate to personally so you always get involved with whats going on!
