Very good Devina! I think there are some psychic blood in the Weasley family! I defidently think Ron is psychic (he just doesn't know it yet... typical boy The Weasley twins could very possibly be seers too..

Yeah.. I think Fred and George are alot less psycich than Ron though.. The only thing we have to prove it is the World cup.. Maybe fred and george has figured out Ron's a seer, and heard him tell a sarcastic joke about Krum catching the snitch, but Ireland still won or something..

I think they guessed. They're the type of characters who would risk everything if there is the slightest chance of victory....They probably just put two and two together- Bulgaria had the best seeker, Ireland had a better team, BANG- conclusion- Bulgaria will catch the snitch, but Ireland will win.

I agree with hermi0ne245. Fred and George are jokers, but smart too. They knew that while the Bulgarian seeker Krum, was better than Ireland's seeker, they also probably knew that Ireland's chasers were better than Bulgaria's. They chose a scenario that seemed unlikely to happen, yet not impossible

How did Fred and George know that outcome of the Quidditch World Cup in book 4 ahead of time? Surely it wasn't just good guessing. What do you all think? I've heard some theories saying they used time travel or something, but that just doesn't seem right to me... i thought they obviously were just great sportsfans, take a baseball fan for example. a baseball fan usually has a favorite team and knows all thet're stats, and knows how they perform against other teams, and what they're strenghts and weak points are, and how they match up against other teams.... sooo, fred and george coulda just had a good "know what" plus, they are pretty darn smart, and the coulda done the odds of what teams winning, and how krum matches up against the other seeker and stuff, plus fred and gearge LOVE taking chances, why no t a bit of gambling? geez, kupo, i thought it was obvious, but i might be wrong, lol, but it is fun to think about it.

Yeah.. Good point.. I can always guess that Brann wins over Odd Grenland and I'm not psychic (most of the time )

I think the boys just do their homework when it comes to Quidditch. Krum is probably the best second to Harry. ;D And Ireland has an excellent team. Krum knew that they wouldn't win but he wanted to lose on his own terms, meaning he wanted to catch the snitch but still lose a good match. Granted Krum may seem a little thick at times but I think he just wanted a fair game. As for Fred and George I think they knew that Ireland was talented but Krum is just a superb Seeker. So Ireland gets the match but Krum caught the snitch. It was just careful study of the players. My dad bets on baseball teams at work all the time and 90% of the time he gets it right.
