They used logic- they knew Irelands team were waaay better, but they also knew Bulgaria's seeker was incredible. Put the two together, and what do you have? A compromise- Bulgaria catching the snitch, though not managing to even the score, even with the snitch, and therefor Ireland wins -- Fred and George don't get enough credit, they arent as stupid as everyone thinks
